Residential design in Everett: Urban Pot planters enhance Ovation at Paine Field

As part of the development of the prestigious Ovation at Paine Field complex in Everett, Washington, Urban Pot was chosen to transform the interior courtyards and common areas into private oases. This project demonstrates how our custom planters can structure a residential space to combine privacy, luxury, and nature.

The challenge: Creating intimacy in a monumental space

With its vast interior courtyards, Ovation's designers faced the challenge of fragmenting the space to create human-scale relaxation areas. The furniture had to match the building's modern architecture: sophisticated, sustainable, and imposing.

A large-scale development: 49 architectural structures

Urban Pot delivered a massive collection of 49 marine-grade aluminum planters, strategically placed to sculpt the landscape:

• Monumental Plant Islands: (8) Giant planters 11 feet long

  Made in two sections with precision joints, they allow planting large trees and shrubs, creating natural focal points at the heart of the complex.

• Guidelines: (13) 96" x 48" planters (28) 96" x 24" units serve as green walls, delimiting private terraces from common walkways while preserving a fluid aesthetic.

Urban Pot engineering at the service of residential luxury

The quality of construction is what distinguishes Urban Pot in high-end real estate projects:

• Marine Grade Aluminum (1/8"): Chosen for its exceptional corrosion resistance in the Pacific Northwest and its lightness, which preserves the integrity of slab structures.

• Monolithic Finish: Thanks to our invisible welds, each tray appears to be sculpted from a single block, offering a minimalist look that integrates seamlessly with Ovation's contemporary design.

• Integrated drainage system: essential for maintaining the long-term health of plants, while preventing stains on the paving stones of interior courtyards.
